Location Hales Bar Dam is located on Lake Nickajack in Guild, Tennessee which is at mile maker 437 of the Tennessee River. It is about 20 minutes from Chattanooga. The Dam The Chattanooga and Tennessee River Power Company began construction on the dam in 1905. Originally slated to open in 1907, the project was delayed until 1913 due to flooding and problems with the limestone foundation. [ 468 more words ]

Thank you so much to The Haunted Hales Bar Dam for letting us come out and investigate last Friday. We had a lot of fun and would like to extend a huge thank you to our hosts Jeff and Vickie Holder. They knew so much about the history and stayed at the gate throughout the night to prevent any interruptions to our investigation and answered any questions we had. We took a trip to a little place called Hales Bar this past weekend and the experience was amazing. The size of this place is massive and pictures just don't do it justice. We can not wait to share more pictures, video, and much more from this trip.

Check out our first visit and investigation of Big Ridge State Park in Maynardville, TN! There are a couple of trails that we were unable to check out due to time constraints on this trip, so we will return in the future and check those out.

We finally got to use our new cameras at this location, and we're excited to be able to produce better quality footage moving forward!

Ghost House Trail There are several claims of activity involving the Ghost House Trail. The first has to do with Maston Hutchinson's daughter Mary. Mary's loved ones claimed to hear her cries coming from the bedroom just hours after she had passed. People walking near the spot where the house used to stand claim to still hear Mary's cries.
