Today, the Jefferson City Fire Department and Jefferson Memorial Hospital partnered to provide hands-on CPR training to 8th-grade students at Jefferson Middle School. Empowering our youth with these life-saving skills is a vital part of our mission to ensure a safer, better-prepared community. We are proud of these students for their focus and dedication to learning how to save a life.

We still have some spots available for this Academy. If you are interested in signing up your teenager then call the station.

JCFD would like to congratulate the newest JCFD Firefighters Annela McCowen and Colton Malone for graduating from the 11-week Northeast Regional Fire Training Recruit Firefighter Academy. Firefighter Malone brought home the “Academic Award” for the Academy by having the highest GPA of all recruits. Welcome aboard, guys!!

Burning is permitted today for Jefferson City Residents until 5:00 PM only. In order to burn in the City you will need a permit.
