Come review last year’s events and help plan what’s next! We’re looking for new board members and junior mushers interested in working with local mushers this winter and spring to prepare for the Kobuk 440 Jr. Race and/or fun runs.

Whether you’re a musher, parent, volunteer, or community member interested in supporting local racing, we’d love to see you there!

Come out and enjoy the arctic spring with us!

The Kobuk 440 and City of Kotzebue have partnered to host a Fun Run Picnic!

We’ll have hot dogs, lemonade, and chips for everyone, as well as the chance for 6-12 year olds to get on the runners and mush a two dog team.

Parents/Guardians must be present for children to participate. All participants will be entered into a raffle for a kid’s sled! Kids can sign up on the ice when they get there.

Saturday 4/18 at 1:30pm on the ice in front of the Post Office.
