Check out these AMAZING Kindergarten students!! 💙🎉 They earned House Shouts from their teachers! Way to go, kiddos!

Fourth graders in Mrs. Thorpe's class spent the last 12 days reading a contemporary fiction book with a BIG mystery that wasn’t revealed until yesterday's final chapter. They were practically giddy to start reading and stunned by the time they finished! 🤩📖🤯

Today, our first graders in Mrs. Reed's class practiced proving their answers by finding evidence in the text! They went back into their reading to find the sentences that supported their answers. We are learning that great readers don't just answer questions—they can PROVE IT! 💡📖

So proud of these little readers and their growing comprehension skills!

📚🏈 Athletes for Literacy at Dyer Elementary! 🏈📚

What a great way to start our morning! 💙🤍 The Krum High School football team joined us for Athletes for Literacy, welcoming our students by opening car doors and then heading into classrooms to read, connect, and spend time with our Little Bobcats! 🐾📖

We are so thankful for these guys taking time out of their day to be positive role models for our students and show them that being a great athlete also means being a leader in our community. ❤️

Help us wish our Krum Bobcats the BEST of luck tonight as they take on Van Alstyne! We’ll be cheering you on! 🏈🔥

👏💙 224 STUDENTS CELEBRATED GREAT ATTENDANCE TODAY! 💙👏

We celebrated 224 students who achieved at least 97% attendance during the first nine weeks with a sweet treat — Bomb Pops! 🇺🇸🎉

That means these students missed no days or only one day of school during the first nine weeks! Way to show up, Bobcats! 🐾👏

Didn't earn your Bomb Pop this time? No worries! Attendance starts fresh every nine weeks, so everyone has another chance to earn a fun prize at the end of the second nine weeks! 💪📚

Remember, missing one day doesn't mean you're out - keep trying!

*We will still celebrate students with 100% attendance at the end of the year with a field trip!*

🏀 Math + Competition = FUN! 🎉🐾

Our 4th graders were shooting hoops with a little twist in Ms. Dillon's class! 🏀 Students played Trasketball to review for their upcoming math assessment, combining teamwork, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition along the way! Who says reviewing for a test can't be fun?! 💙🖤

🎃🐾 PUMPKIN PATCHIN'! 🐾🎃

Kindergarten had a great time at the Black Creek Farms pumpkin patch yesterday! 💙 They got to ride in a barrel train, pet the chickens and goats, find their way through a maze, and pick the perfect pumpkin!
