🚨FINAL COMMUNITY TOWN HALL🚨
Nampa Fire Protection District and Kuna Rural Fire District invite community members to attend the Final Community Town Hall regarding the proposed consolidation of the two fire districts.
🚨This is another opportunity to learn about the proposed consolidation, ask questions, and provide feedback before the Boards consider any final decisions.

Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 6 PM – 8 PM
Kuna City Hall, 751 W. 4th St., Kuna, ID 83634

🚨No final decision has been made. We encourage residents to stay informed and participate in the process.

Today, our department pauses to solemnly remember the victims and honor the ultimate sacrifice of the 343 firefighters and all first responders who gave their lives on September 11, 2001.

9/6/26- The Kuna Fire District responded to a working structure fire. The fire was in between the roofing material and a vaulted ceiling and proved difficult to extinguish. Nampa Fire and Meridian Fire responded for mutual aid to assist. No injuries were reported.

Kuna Firefighters encountered one of the BIGGEST “Fire-Nados” they’ve seen in a while. Thanks to all responding agencies, this fire was kept at bay. #

Kuna Fire and multiple agencies responded this evening to Swan Falls dam after getting reports of a man being swept downstream just below the dam. The rescuers were unable to locate the victim and efforts have transitioned into search and recovery.
