THE FILL THE CRUISER CHALLENGE IS BACK FOR 2026!

Kutztown, we're challenging you to help us fill that cruiser again!
Last year, our community came together to help families in need, and we're hoping to make this year's Fill the Cruiser Challenge even bigger!
With local food banks continuing to face increased demand, especially as the holiday season approaches, the Kutztown Borough Police Department is asking for your help collecting nonperishable food donations for local food banks, including Friend Inc. Community Services.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2026
We'll be out at two locations throughout the day:
Weis Markets (Kutztown Rd)
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Giant
1:30 PM – 5:30 PM

CAN'T MAKE IT ON SATURDAY? NO PROBLEM!
We wouldn't want you to miss out on the opportunity to help! We'll be accepting donations ahead of time at the Kutztown Police Department lobby, 45 Railroad Street, from Monday, November 9 through Friday, November 13, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?
Canned vegetables, fruits, soups, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, boxed meals, and other nonperishable food items. Every little bit helps!

HERE'S OUR CHALLENGE TO YOU!
We want to see just how much food the Kutztown community can pack into one police cruiser! Whether you donate one can, a grocery bag, or an entire shopping cart, you're helping put food on the table for a family right here in our area.
Stop by, say hello to our officers, and help support the local food banks that do so much for our neighbors throughout the year.
A special thank you to Weis Markets and Giant for helping us bring this event to our community!

Now, Kutztown, are you up for the challenge?
LET'S FILL THAT CRUISER TO THE ROOF!
Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with your friends, family, and neighbors!
