Just a reminder that our 50th reunion is coming up.

It is with deep sadness that we have lost another classmate over something so senseless.

It is with the heaviest of hearts I am posting this. Last night the world lost a lovely soul, wife, mother, and friend, Debbie Misamore went to sleep last , but didn't wake up. I spoke with her husband Richard just minutes ago and he said they believe it was her kidneys that just gave out. There will not be any services. How bless we all were to have known her and her beautiful spirit. May she rest in peace. She will truly be be missed 💔🙏💔🙏😥

'Polka Parade' radio host Dick Sinclair dies at 91 Former longtime La Cañada resident and broadcasting personality Dick Sinclair passed away last month in Palm Desert, where he'd made his home in recent years. He was 91.

What a wonderful person she was! May she R.I.P.

If you haven't made your Hilton Hotel reservations, please do so before April 23, as they can't promise our rate will still be available after that. I have rooms blocked at $119 per night. Let them know it's for the La Canada High School Class of 74 reunion.

Also, for those of you that are joining us for the reunion, please print and complete the registration form on the class website http://www.lchsclassof74.org The cost is just $30 per person whether you come Fri., Sat., or both nights. There will not be a dinner event, just heavy snacks both nights.

For those of you who have already sent in your registrations, thank you. : )

In case you haven't seen it, the registration form is now on our class website www.lchsclassof74.org. Also, it has come to my attention that people think the reunion is Memorial Weekend. IT IS'NT!!! Memorial Day is the weekend BEFORE our reunion. Looking forward to seeing everyone. It looks like we'll have a nice turnout. ~ Karen Palmer

We have a time and location for our FRIDAY NIGHT HAPPY HOUR. We will be at the Pasadena Hilton Hotel. I've booked the patio outside their bar, but I REALLY need to hear from anyone who is planning to be there. There will be a $10.00 cover charge for the happy hour. Thank you to those 10 people who have responded already. If a lot more people confirm that they are coming, I may need to reserve a larger space.

I have blocked out 15 rooms at the Hilton. If we need more, I think I can block more. The rate is $119 per night. They will be listed under La Canada Class of 74 Reunion.

PLEASE TELL ANY CLASSMATES THAT YOU ARE STILL IN TOUCH WITH ABOUT THE REUNION. SEVERAL PEOPLE HAVE NOT UPDATED THEIR INFO. ON THIS WEB SITE, SO I CAN'T REACH THEM.

Hey Everyone!

We WILL be having our 40th reunion the weekend of May 30 - June 1. Friday night will be a happy hour, time and location to be announced. Saturday will be at a house in Flintridge. This will be open to all classes, not just the Class of 74. Saturday night is a fund raiser to celebrate LCHS's 50th anniversary. It will cost about $50.00. I'll let you know more when I get more info.

Put these dates on your calendars!!! Our happy hour will most likely be in Pasadena, so book your hotels now.

Please let me know if you are coming, and if you are bringing a second. Tell all your friends from our class and any other classes you have friends in.
