Tonight I attended the presentation of the Oldham Countian of the Year award. I learned several things. This year's winner was pivotal in bringing our beloved hospital to La Grange. He also had a hand in the creation of The Arvin Center at OCHS. And could you imagine the traffic in Crestwood if this person has not donated the land for Veterans Memorial Parkway and worked with the state to make it happen? Congratulations to Bob Jones and thank you for all you've done to improve the lives of Oldham Countians.

Today's door knocking team made great progress in Goshen. As a bonus, we ran into some Oldham County treasures! Thank you, Paul and Wendy Gasser, owners of the former Dizzy Dave's, for your support!

We had a wonderful time Friday evening at the Bourbon and W**e event to raise money for the South Oldham Rotary. Yew Dell is a great venue for this event! If you've never visited you are missing out. This is an Oldham County gem!

Choosing a Deputy Judge, should never be taken lightly. Laura Kays Fischer Tapp and myself may not agree on everything, but we do agree that we both want what's best for Oldham County. I couldn't have picked a better person for the job.

Dana and I had a wonderful time early today at Harvest on the Rails in La Grange. The La Grange Main Street Program did a fantastic job!

We followed that up with knocking on doors in Goshen and a drive to Westport to enjoy the beauty Oldham County offers.
