The City of La Grange has its own sign ordinance now. I have attached the link to the ordinance for anyone who is interested.

The section that deals with temporary signs starts on page 10 of the ordinance, prohibited sign section starts on page 17. Basically it states the following:

Any sign larger than 12 square feet must be permitted. The permit is only valid for 30 days. Each permit allows for one sign and each permit is $50.00. There are size restrictions and height requirements so please do not order your sign until your permit is approved.

Temporary signs cannot have any type of light source or reflectivity.

Only two signs allowed per frontage for each property under the size of 12 square feet. The exception to this is during April 1 - May 31 and September 15 - November 15 when you are allowed as many signs as you want as long as they are under 12 square feet and they are not in the right of way or sight triangle.

Signs cannot have any moving parts, whether it is the sign itself or something added.

No signs allowed in sight triangles or right of ways.

No signs on any property unless you have the property owner permission.
