❓ FAQ: Can I Bring My Pet With Me to Independent Living?

For many people, a pet isn't just company. They're family, and the thought of leaving them behind can make a move feel much harder than it needs to be. 🐾
The good news is that many independent living communities are pet-friendly and happily welcome cats, dogs, and other small companions.

Policies can vary from one community to another, so when you tour, it's worth asking about size or breed guidelines, any pet fees, and where you can walk together nearby. Having your pet by your side can make a new apartment feel like home from the very first day, and pets are often a wonderful way to meet neighbors too.

If your furry friend is part of your plans, bring your questions along on your next visit. Starting this new chapter with the companion who knows you best can make it feel even brighter. 🐕
