Scott Avenue proudly salutes Mrs. DeLeon for her incredible 33 years of teaching and making a lasting impact on generations of students. We also extend our heartfelt farewell to Mrs. Padilla, Miss Kasane, and Mrs. Rytky as they begin exciting new chapters in their journeys.

🌟 Student Spotlight: Marcus Melendrez 🌟

We are proud to celebrate 4th grader Marcus Melendrez, who was recently featured in The Post newspaper for his outstanding wrestling achievements!

Marcus competed in his first national wrestling championship and earned an impressive 2nd-place finish in the 113-pound division. He is now ranked #3 in the nation in his weight class—an incredible accomplishment!

Marcus shared his experience, motivation, and the importance of hard work with both his 4th grade classmates and his younger brother’s TK class, inspiring students to pursue their goals.

Congratulations, Marcus! We are proud of your dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship. 🏆👏
