Devoted husband and proud father striving to lead with compassion, serve with courage, and inspire through action. Many years ago, this page was started many years ago when I served on the Maryland Youth Advisory Council under the name "Councilman Jonathan Dayton." This gave me a platform to connect with the youth that I represented on the council. https://goc.maryland.gov/myac/

I served on the Maryland Youth Advisory Council for the max two one-year terms appointed by the Speaker of the House. Jonathan Dayton," in order to stand out from my personal profile. I've kept the page active with a few name changes for official business purposes only outside of my personal life although there is much overlap. All posts and topics discussed on this page are my views and my views only. Every post unless otherwise noted has been my direct thought, views, and/or words. Most topics are based on my views as a volunteer Firefighter/EMT or community advocate. I also encourage you to follow me on Twitter and Instagram . A big thank you to my friends at Western Governors University for the baby gift! Over the past two years, I’ve gotten to know the WGU Alumni team as both great professional colleagues and genuine friends.

They’ve been so supportive of me and my professional journey, and I’m truly grateful for that. The support means a lot, but the friendships mean even more.

I can’t recommend WGU and its programs enough, and I’m thankful to be connected with such a great group of people. Thank you all for thinking of our growing family! 💙🦉

Last night, we held our bi-monthly meeting with 15 members in attendance representing 8 departments from across Allegany County.

We’re always looking for new members who want to get involved and serve our fire and EMS community. Applicants must be a member of a local volunteer fire or EMS agency.

A big thank-you to the Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Company for hosting today’s association meeting! We had approximately 30 individuals in attendance, representing departments from across the area. And, of course, the meal was great!

We also want to thank the four Commission candidates who joined us today and took the time to address our audience. We appreciate you being there, sharing your thoughts, and engaging with our member departments.

📅 Our next meeting will be December 13th at the Rawlings Volunteer Fire Department.

⏰ Please note: We will be resuming our normal 2:00 PM meeting start time.
