The St. Tammany Parish coroner reviewed both autopsy results for Nolan Wells and provided insight as to why water wasn't found inside his body.

As of September 1, 41 su***des have been reported in our parish this year, a concerning increase that calls for continued awareness and action.

FPHSA CONVENES COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO ADDRESSRISING SU***DE RATE IN ST. TAMMANY PARISH

St. Tammany Parish, La. - Florida Parishes Human Services Authority (FPHSA) Executive Director Richard Kramer called a meeting today with community partners to discuss an action plan to combat the rising su***de rate in St. Tammany Parish.

Participating in the meeting were St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape; Taylor Huynh with the St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office; Nick Richard, Executive Director of NAMI Southeast Louisiana; Colette Melancon with St. Tammany Outreach for the Prevention of Su***de (STOPS); and Sherard Crespo with VIA LINK.

The group discussed opportunities to impact this issue and how the participating organizations can work collaboratively to address su***de in St. Tammany Parish.
