The Lacon Park District is extremely excited to be able to offer the recently purchased river front property to the public. However due to current improvement needs, and machinery that will be entering and exiting the property. Please do not enter the property without consent from the park district. We are working hard to make this new area an amazing park for the public. We will be completing necessary improvements in phases, as soon as the property is deemed safe with debris removed and signage posted in dangerous areas we will publicly open the new park. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to contribute to the improvement of our community!
