Company 1 responded and arrived on scene before tones for a reported entrapment on College Park Road this evening. Engines 101 and 103 determined it was just confinement and were able to back one of the vehicles away from the other to free all passengers. All occupants refused medical care and College Park NB was reopened once the vehicles were moved off the roadway.

This Labor Day Weekend, while our day crews were busy responding to calls in district, Engine 101 was in Darlington standing by for the Cook Out Southern 500. This served as the opening race of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. We’re thankful to have this opportunity.

Engine 103 was first due for a fire in Company 4s run late last night. Our crew had water on the fire and was making entry 62 seconds after arriving on scene.

Company 1 responded to an MVA on I26 this morning. Reports that a firefighter was hit by a car are false.

A police pursuit on I-26 eastbound has snared traffic on I-26 near College Park Road and prompted EMS response eraly Friday morning.An official tells me there

Company 1 responded with Engine 101 and Engine 103 to a vehicle rollover on College Park Rd. & Miami St. E101 arrived and confirmed no entrapment and treated the patients on scene with E103. College Park NB was shutdown until the accident was cleared.

Engine 101 responded to an 4 car MVA with entrapment on College Park Rd with Engine 402 this afternoon. Crews performed a B-Post Blowout and provided patient care until patients were removed and care was transferred to EMS.

Engine 101 on scene of a vehicle fire off College Park Rd this afternoon. Engine 101 extinguished the fire and checked a trailer and nearby vehicles for extension, finding only heat damage.
