🇺🇸 PLEASE REMEMBER — SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Please remember the innocent people who left home that morning expecting to return.

Please remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, emergency medical personnel, dispatchers, and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger while others were trying to escape.

Please remember those lost at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and aboard Flight 93.

Please remember how that morning changed the course of military service for an entire generation.

Some of us were already wearing the uniform and watched our mission change overnight. Others raised their right hand because of what they witnessed. In the years that followed, an entire generation deployed—often repeatedly—chasing the terrorists and networks responsible and carrying the fight far from American soil.

Some never came home.

Others returned carrying wounds, both visible and invisible. Behind every deployment were military spouses, children, parents, and families who carried the weight alongside us. Gold Star Families continue to carry a sacrifice that can never be repaid.

Twenty-five years later, September 11 is not simply a moment in history. Its consequences are still carried by first responders, veterans, military families, and communities across this country.

Today, we ask you to pause.

Tell the next generation what happened.
Honor those who ran toward danger.
Remember those who answered the call.
Remember those who never made it home.

Please remember—not only what happened that day, but everyone who carried its weight afterward.

🇺🇸 INTRODUCING MILITARY LOOP: BEYOND THE GATE 🇺🇸

Every military installation has another community beyond its gates—the places where service members and military families eat, shop, relax, explore, raise their children, and spend their off-duty hours.

Military Loop is launching a community-built effort to document that world, one installation at a time.

We’re starting with the Military Loop Base Locator:

Find an installation where you served, lived, worked, or raised a military family. Then help us build the guide with the knowledge only the military community possesses.

We want to know:

• Where is the best place to grab breakfast or dinner?
• What can families do together on the weekend?
• Where do single service members go during their off-duty hours?
• What parks, trails, lakes, beaches, museums, or attractions are worth visiting?
• What annual events and local traditions should people experience?
• Which businesses genuinely welcome and support military people?
• Where can someone find a trustworthy mechanic, barber, childcare provider, realtor, or other local service?
• What nearby destinations make a great day trip or weekend escape?
• What do you wish someone had told you when you first arrived?

We are not building another list of addresses and phone numbers.

We are building living military community guides from the ground up—from the people who have actually lived the experience.

The Purple Heart is not simply a medal. It represents blood shed, sacrifice made, and a debt our country can never fully repay.

We didn’t build Military Loop to be another directory.

We built it because “military-friendly” stopped meaning anything.

Too often, support is reduced to a slogan, a sticker, or a checkbox. We wanted something that shows who actually steps up — in real communities, with real people, in ways you can see and trust.
