🚑 Meet Your Provider Monday! 🚑

This week, meet Paramedic Andrew Fisher! 👋

Andrew is a paramedic and firefighter who grew up in the Philadelphia area and now lives in Lower Merion with his wife, son, daughter, and their two crazy dogs, Murphy and Sally-Sue. He describes his children as wonderful—and sometimes well-behaved! 🐾

🏂 Outside of work: In the rare moments he has free time, Andrew loves to snowboard. Winter is his favorite season, and he’s always looking forward to getting back on the slopes.

💙 His path to EMS: Nearly six years ago, Andrew and his family lost their youngest son to SUID/SIDS. That devastating loss changed his perspective, priorities, and goals. With his family’s support, he pursued a more fulfilling career in EMS—a decision he describes as one of the best of his life.

🚑 The most rewarding part: Going home knowing he did everything he could to make a positive impact on the community around him.

📣 His message to you: “You should never feel embarrassed or ashamed to call us for help. More importantly, do not hesitate to call us if you think something is wrong—you know yourself and your body better than anyone. We want to help—this is what we do—and we are here for you night and day.”

Thank you, Andrew, for sharing your story and for the care and compassion you bring to our community. 💙

🚑 MEET YOUR PROVIDER MONDAY! 🚑

This week, we’re introducing you to Battalion Chief Bob Siess! 🇺🇸

Bob is a proud veteran of the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. He grew up in Montgomery County, PA, although he admits some might argue he didn’t actually grow up until he got to Fort Bragg, NC. 😂

Today, Bob lives in Souderton with his wife and their soon-to-be FOUR kids!

🏈 Outside of EMS: Bob loves football, although being an Eagles fan isn’t exactly easy right now. 🦅 But his favorite thing? Decorating for Christmas with his family! 🎄 Whether or not that officially counts as a hobby, Bob says it’s definitely his thing.

❤️ Why EMS? Bob’s reason for entering EMS is deeply personal. His older sister was diagnosed with leukemia at just six years old and fought for 24 years before sadly losing her battle.

Growing up, Bob spent countless hours watching medical professionals care for his sister. Through it all, one thought always stuck with him:

“It’s okay, the ambulance is here. Nothing bad can happen now.”

After leaving the military, Bob knew he wanted to become that same source of comfort and reassurance for someone else.

💙 The most rewarding part of the job? Seeing former patients and their families come back to say hello. Knowing he made a positive difference in someone’s life makes even the toughest days worthwhile.

🚨 Bob’s advice to the community: “When you hear sirens or see flashing lights, please pull over to the right if you can. If you can’t, just stop and let us navigate around you.”

From serving his country to serving his community, Bob has dedicated much of his life to helping others. We’re lucky to have him as part of the WCAA family!

🎃👻 WCAA’s 4th Annual Trunk or Treat was a HUGE success! 👻🎃

Yesterday, WCAA celebrated our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat, and this year was bigger than ever! We had an incredible turnout, plenty of smiling faces, amazing costumes, and lots of Halloween fun! 🍬🎃

A HUGE thank you to our community for coming out and celebrating with us. Events like this are what make our community so special, and we loved seeing so many families come out to enjoy the afternoon with us!

WCAA’s 4th Annual Trunk or Treat is HERE! 🚑🍬

🐩 As for Teddy… Let’s just say he’s been up to no good, and there may be some consequences for his questionable behavior. 👀🚨🤣
