Our annual Kenny Childress Memorial Land Judging yesterday was a success!

The Macon County Soil and Water Conservation District, UT Extension Office, and NRCS worked together to co-host this event for our youth groups. We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who helped make it happen. We had a total of 86 children, with 21 teams attending the event.

A special thanks to the City Mayor and City of Lafayette Parks crew for allowing us to use Winding Stairs and for digging the soil pits, the NRCS soil scientists, and everyone involved for sharing your time, knowledge, and expertise with our youth. We truly appreciate all you do to make opportunities like this possible!
