Today marked the end of an era at S.J. Montgomery Elementary.

As the last day of school came to a close, so did our time together on this beloved campus. For years, these halls have echoed with laughter, learning, and the unforgettable memories that shaped who we are as a school community.

Though it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to so many, we are filled with pride and gratitude. From field days and classroom celebrations to lifelong friendships and amazing milestones—S.J. Montgomery will always hold a special place in our hearts.

To our students: you are the reason this school was so special. Your futures are bright, and we can’t wait to see all that you will accomplish. As you move forward, take the spirit of S.J. Montgomery with you—kindness, curiosity, courage, and community.

Thank you to every student, parent, teacher, and staff member who made S.J. Montgomery a home. This may be the last time we walk these halls, but the memories will last forever🫶🏼💚🦁

Good afternoon SJM families. Tomorrow is 3rd-5th grade field day. Students may wear athletic clothes (no white). Students will be getting wet so students attending both morning and afternoon sessions should bring 2 changes of clothes. Those only attending the afternoon session need to bring only 1 set of dry clothes. Students should apply sunscreen before leaving in the morning. Please bring a towel :-)
