Camp Bon Coeur Support, programs and camps for children with heart defects and their families. Summer Camp is held each June for heart children ages 7 - 16.

What began in 1985 as a camp for children with heart defects has grown to include support groups, Family Camp, monthly get togethers and more! For the past five years we have included services for adults with congenital heart defects too. We typically have about 45 campers per year from across the state and nation. Campers experience typical camp activities such as horseback riding, swimming, heart class, sports, art, canoeing and archery just to name a few. Family Camp is for camp families of any age including adults with CHDs and their families. This weekend is designed for families to meet others in similar situations, to create a support network and most importantly for family bonding and fun. Typically held in January, this event is a CBC favorite! Year-round activities. We offer support, information and a listening ear when needed. From phone calls to support groups, we are there for our campers and families! Our support group activities will soon resume via Zoom.

Some hearts beat a little differently, but they are no less strong.

Today we celebrate the incredible children of Camp Bon Coeur. Their courage, determination, kindness, and spirit inspire us every day. Whether they're making new friends, trying something for the first time, or supporting a fellow camper, they show us what it means to lead with heart.

To our campers and families: thank you for letting us be part of your journey.

Hi families we still have spots open and are looking forward to this event

On October 3, we're planning a pottery class at Pottery Alley in Lafayette, where we'll create an adorable little creature similar to the examples shown below.

Because classroom space is limited, this activity will be limited to one guardian and one camper. The cost is $15 per person, with checks made payable to Pottery Alley.

We'll have two available time slots:
9:00 AM–10:30 AM
1:00 PM–2:30 PM

Hi families,

We’re working on a pop-up get-together in Lafayette next month! An email was recently sent out with information on how to sign up if you're interested in attending.

We also need a few volunteers to help support the Volley for Hearts volleyball tournament on October 24. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and volunteers can choose from two different shifts either morning 8:30-12 or 12-4 or help out all day. Having campers and families present helps our teams, sponsors, and supporters see firsthand the impact Camp Bon Coeur has on so many lives.
