So so much goodness awaits you at La Cuisine de Maman in Vermilionville this week. Not to peak too soon, but... Crawfish Mac 'n' Cheese this Friday!!! The rest of the week, just yummy! Smothered Ribs Tuesday, Bayou Chicken Pasta Wednesday, Grilled Pork Chops Thursday -- come have lunch with us! Every plate lunch comes with entree, side veggie, homemade buttermilk biscuit, cup of gumbo or side salad, dessert & beverage, $15.95, Seafood Friday, $16.95. Sunday's buffet, all you can eat, $17.95. ✔️

The Zombies have taken over the bayou -- come solve the murder and save the world -- Zombies on the Bayou Murder Mystery Dinner October 24th at Vermilionville. Enjoy dinner from La Cuisine de Maman, learn the story and then go out into the village and interrogate suspects. Make your best guess, and you could win prizes! Some of the work our Bayou Vermilion District river crew does on a daily basis. This blue heron was trapped in fishing line on the bayou, our team of Eric and Tate rescued and freed the beautiful bird. Also, a short video of trash people had dumped under I-10. All cleaned up. Thanks, guys, for everything you do, every day. !

Come have lunch and see our Living Bayou exhibit this week!

Annnnd here we go again! Another week to come have lunch with us at La Cuisine de Maman in Vermilionville. Plate lunches are delicious -- peep Wednesday, Meatball Stew (Al Hebert I'm talking to you!) They all come with entree, a homemade buttermilk biscuit, cup of gumbo or side salad, side veggie, dessert (don't pass up our stellar bread pudding) and a beverage, $14.95, Seafood Friday, $15.95. Sunday's buffet -- two entrees, loads of sides, gumbo, salad, biscuits, dessert, beverage, all you can eat, $17.95. So yeah, come have lunch with us this week! ✔️

The Living Bayou Exhibit is open -- thank you to our partners, Friends of the Bayou Vermilion, represented by Brandon Ch*****ne, Stephen Broussard, Executive Director of BVD, Karen Hail, BVD Commission President, Amanda Blanchard of Teche-Vermilion Fresh Water District, and Kent Labry of LUS. This exhibit is supported by an Atchafalaya Wild Grant from the Atchafalaya National Heritage Foundation. Come see it, along with the photo exhibit of the flooding now in our lobby. Thanks as well to everyone who has shared their photos and stories, and KATC TV 3 who provided us with video footage of the catastrophic event.
