Our fabulous fire fighters are here promoting their toy drive! Purchase something from the book fair and donate it right here at Wascher. We love seeing our community contribute to such a good cause.

It's Book Fair time! If you don't want to send your child to school with cash, why not set up an eWallet? Once you've created your eWallet, you can share it with any friends and family who might want to support your child's reading habit. Plus! eWallet funds will stay in your wallet once to Book Fair is done and can be used for future Scholastic sales or simply spent online.

Book Fair is also this week and we need lots of volunteers! If you've been nostalgic about book fairs from when you were a kid, now is your chance to come tour ours. There will also be an opportunity to purchase donations to the Lafayette Fire Department's Holiday Toy Drive. Even if you don't find something for yourself or your student, you might find something for some other lucky child.

It's Conferences this week! As usual, the PTA tries to provide dinner for the teachers and staff who will have to stay late on Wednesday. This time, we're doing a Fall Favorites Potluck dinner. Whip up your favorite fall dish and drop it off on Wednesday before 4 pm so that our teachers can have a hearty dinner. If you don't have time to volunteer, this can be a great way to contribute to our community.

UH OH! Glow Party had some extra flashing lights this year!

It was just the fog machine, but we evacuated the building just to be safe. We want to thank everyone for coming out and apologize for the early end to our evening. We hope to see you all out at our next family event, hopefully with slightly fewer flashing lights next time.

Thank you to the fire fighters of the Lafayette Fire Department for your quick response time and your help in clearing the fog out of the building. Your contribution to our community is always appreciated.

URGENT! The set-up time for Glow Party tomorrow has been MOVED to 4:30!

This means that we are all hands on deck for set-up. If you can help, please sign up at the link below. If you are hesitant to volunteer because you don't like the noise and flashing lights, this is a great way to contribute.

It's International Coffee Day today!

DID YOU KNOW?

One of the things the PTA does throughout the year is Stock The Lounge! We purchase snacks and drinks (especially coffee) for our teachers and staff to enjoy throughout the year. Just one of the many ways that our fundraising dollars are spent.
