Before Fall Break Mrs. Kayla West’s class started learning some anatomy and anatomical positions. Students were able to use this play-dough activity to learn the body planes as well as directional terms. Their assignment was to create a play-dough body in the anatomical position, then label the three body planes as well as the directional terms we learned in class. This lesson lays the foundation for moving on and learning basic anatomy for these students.
