👏🎉Congratulations to the Strongest Link for September of 2026, Karl Hauptman!
At last Tuesday’s Board of Commissioners Work Session, we recognized the recipient of The Richard English, Jr. Strongest Link Award of Excellence for September 2026. This award recognizes that all County employees link together to form a chain that provides the citizens of Troup County with excellent service. No one better exemplified that spirit of excellence and dedication than Mr. English, who was a true leader and who demonstrated outstanding dedication and service to our community for more than 40 years.
We honored his memory and legacy as we recognized The Richard English, Jr. Strongest Link Award of Excellence recipient for September 2026, Firefighter/EMT with the Fire Department, Karl R. Hauptman.
“He brings to each shift a strong work ethic, sharp critical thinking and a calm presence that benefits both our team and the community we serve. He has taken initiative in mentoring new firefighters, stepping up without hesitation when additional responsibility is needed and consistently modeling the kind of attitude and performance we want throughout the department.”
Karl, we truly appreciate all the hard work, dedication and loyalty that you have put into Troup County. You have proven that you are “The Strongest Link.” Congratulations!
