Team Brooklyn has been watching the weather carefully - and it feels like it's been changing drastically by the hour! The latest is showing that the storm this weekend could turn into a serious Nor'easter, with dangerous winds and potential flooding.

While we are immensely appreciative of our hosts being willing to move the tea party indoors, we don’t want anyone to jeopardize their safety by driving through the storm or its aftermath. Everyone’s safety is priority!

With that said, we are making the decision to reschedule (not cancel!) the LaGrange Spill the Tea event. Stay tuned for a new date.

When the pursuit of safety becomes an excuse for surveillance, we have a duty to stop it. I call for an immediate suspension of Dutchess County’s contract with FLOCK and demand that the county cover every FLOCK camera in the district. We have learned that this cloud-based technology cannot be controlled and can be used to create a surveillance state that undermines all of our freedoms. This is simply too powerful a technology, and too dangerous a threat to our liberties.
