10/20/26: EMS con ed training. Assistant Chief Steve Piotrowski presented his program to a large group of emergency medical professionals from 17 different departments. Every other month classes like this are held at Maplewood to allow students to obtain their recertification credits. Because Maplewood is an accredited training facility, participants can take advantage of in person and hands on training instead of on line instruction. The ICE HOUSE is always glad to train together with other departments and emergency responders. We greatly appreciate Paramedic Steve for presenting these programs and all those who attend.

The ICE HOUSE is proud to recognize Maplewood Firefighter Tyler Fink on being hired by the Dunmore fire department as a career firefighter.
Tyler is the fourth firefighter in recent years from Maplewood Fire & Rescue company to transition from one of our dedicated volunteers to being hired as a full time career firefighter.
Since firefighter Fink joined the ICE HOUSE, he worked diligently to complete firefighter 1 and 2 as well as Emergency medical technician, along with his son Dayton, whom is also a dedicated firefighter on our team.
We wish him a long, safe and successful career.
