We are excited for our ELEVENTH National Night Out and are looking forward to another fun event bringing our first responders together with the community we serve.
Tuesday, October 27 at 5:00pm, Lake Arthur Park is the place to be- mark your calendars!
No need to worry about supper- there will be pizza, jambalaya, nachos, hot dogs, snow cones, popsicles and other sweet treats available.

In the upcoming days leading to the big night, we will be posting information about activities and all the free, fun things you can plan to participate in.
Keep an eye out so you don’t miss anything!

On September 24, 2026, Lake Arthur Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at a residence on New Orleans Avenue. During the search, a significant amount of methamphetamine, ma*****na and fentanyl were located. As a result of the narcotics found, Chassity Breaux was arrested and charged with:
Possession of Marijuana/THC/Chemical Derivatives 1st 14 grams or less
Possession of CDS Schedule II
Illegal use of CDS in presence of minor
Possession Drug Paraphernalia
Manufacture/Distribution of
CDS ll-2 counts
Breaux was transported to the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail where she is currently awaiting bond.

🚨 COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUESTED 🚨
The Jennings Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Bryan Vincent Sr. in connection with a reported domestic disturbance that occurred on September 8, 2026, at a residence on Airport Road in Jennings.

Officers responded to the residence and spoke with a female victim, who reported that Vincent pushed her to the ground, strangled her, and threatened her life. According to the victim, Vincent fled the area on foot prior to officers’ arrival.

Officers conducted an extensive search of the surrounding area, including the use of drones and a search of a nearby wooded area; however, Vincent was not located.

⚠️ Do not approach or attempt to confront Vincent. If you see him or have information regarding his location, contact law enforcement immediately.

Anyone who may have information regarding Bryan Vincent Sr.’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Jennings Police Department at 337-821-5500 ext 500.

🚨 COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE REQUESTED 🚨
The Jennings Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Jomarick Sellers in connection with an investigation involving the theft of a fi***rm.
On September 14, 2026, officers received a complaint regarding the theft of a fi***rm. During the investigation, the complainant reported that he had arranged to sell a handgun to an acquaintance.

According to the complainant, upon meeting with Jomarick Sellers, Sellers took possession of the fi***rm and then handed it to another individual. The individual then fled the area on foot with the fi***rm, and the complainant did not receive payment for the handgun.
During the investigation, officers learned that Sellers is prohibited from possessing fi***rms due to being on probation for a previous case.

Officers later located Sellers at a residence on Smith Street. Upon officers’ arrival, Sellers fled the area on foot and was not located.

⚠️ Do not approach or attempt to confront Sellers. If you see him or have information regarding his location, contact law enforcement immediately.

The Jennings Police Department is asking anyone who may have information regarding Jomarick Sellers’ whereabouts to contact the department at 337-821-5500 Ext 500.

SMILE/LIHEAP Community Action will be at the Lake Arthur Community Center, tomorrow only from 9 AM - 2 PM to assist those in need of assistance with utility bills. One of the criteria is that you can not have had prior assistance thru that organization.
