On August 8, 2026 representatives of our Board of Directors broke ground to begin the construction phase of our expansion project to serve Lake Michigan water to Lake Zurich.

Lake Zurich's Ground Breaking Celebration date and time have changed.

Considering the rain in this afternoon's weather forecast, we've postponed today's groundbreaking for the Oakwood Pump Station to this Friday (8/7/26) at 2 pm.

Because of the depth and size of the CLCJAWA pipeline, repairs are often supersized. This week a leaking blow-off station was permanently removed from service. Thank you to both CLCJAWA and Campanella crews for minimizing the service interruption and expeditiously completing this repair in difficult conditions. And thank you to our Member communities for your patience and back-up systems that keep water flowing.

Area contractors joined us today in Lake Zurich to learn more about the 7 mile long pipeline and pump stations that we are building to supply Lake Michigan water to Lake Zurich. Contractor outreach improves contractor awareness, coordination, and competitiveness.
