What a landmark evening!! 🥂

A huge thank you to VISIT Lake Geneva, City Council, the Library Board, the Friends of the Lake Geneva Public Library, library staff (the BEST!!! 😍), and our amazing patrons and community most of all, for celebrating our local landmark status and local history, along with a completely renovated Smith Meeting Room. More thanks to the amazing Ken Etten and extraordinary Chris Brookes for their presentation about local landmarks in the City of Lake Geneva and the hard work of the Historic Preservation Commission. Here’s to the next 130 years of the Lake Geneva Public Library - cheers! Thank you all! 🎉

Everyone, please join us tonight to celebrate the library as your first City of Lake Geneva Local Landmark at 5:45pm for a ribbon cutting with the wonderful VISIT Lake Geneva, an special open house with refreshments in our newly renovated Smith Meeting Room at 6:00pm, and an informational program on local landmarking with Chris Brookes and Ken Etten of the Historic Preservation Commission and Library Board at 6:30 pm.

We look forward to seeing you tonight!

This was an amazing program - thanks Lakeside Books - Lake Geneva for making it happen with two very special Wisconsin authors! We love both of their books. Check them out if you haven’t read them yet.
