Come out this Saturday, October 24th from 11am - 2pm to have a certified technician check your child’s car seat.
*Most Common Car Seat Mistakes*
According to safety data, misuse usually involves one or more of these frequent errors:
• Loose car seat base: The car seat moves more than an inch side-to-side at the belt path.
• Skipping the top tether: Failing to attach the top tether for a forward-facing seat, which allows the seat to pitch forward in a crash.
• Loose harness straps: The harness webbing at the child's shoulder can still be pinched between your fingers.
• Early transition: Moving children to booster seats or regular seat belts before they have outgrown the size and weight limits of their current seat.
