🚓🚒🚑 That’s a wrap on Safety Day 2026! 💙

What an amazing day! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and spent the day with us. Seeing so many families, smiling faces, and kids having fun while getting to know their local first responders is exactly what Safety Day is all about!

We’re incredibly grateful to all of the police, fire, and EMS from both Jackson and Milton Township, The Mahoning County Sheriff’s, ODNR, State Highway Patrol, community organizations like NOPEC, the Mahoning County Prosecutor’s, Sunshine Preschool and Childcare, Salon on 1 Eight, and Jeswald’s Towing, volunteers, and everyone else who helped make today possible. Events like this wouldn’t happen without so many people willing to give their time and support to our community. ❤️

And of course… we came for the sirens and stayed for the snacks. 😉🚨🌭🍦 THANK YOU to Austintown Chick-fil-A for feeding all of us and Udderly Sweet Treats for the perfect dessert!

Thank you for making Safety Day 2026 such a great one! We’re already looking forward to next year! 💙

Please join us in congratulating LT. Zlenka, SGT. Carrell, and Officer Monk on successfully completing School Resource Officer (SRO) Training!

This specialized training equips officers with the knowledge and skills needed to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families while helping create a safe and supportive learning environment. SROs play an important role not only in school safety but also as mentors, educators, and trusted members of the community.

We are proud of their commitment to professional development and their dedication to serving the students and schools in our community. Congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment—we're grateful to have you representing the Milton Township Police!

Milton Township Police officers recently participated in ALERRT (Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training), a nationally recognized program focused on preparing first responders to effectively respond to active attacker incidents.

This dynamic, force-on-force training provides officers with realistic scenarios designed to enhance their ability to isolate, distract, and neutralize threats while protecting the public. Continuous training like ALERRT helps ensure our officers are equipped with the skills, tactics, and confidence needed to respond during critical incidents.

We are committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining the highest level of readiness to serve and protect our community.
