Color Run is still on for Friday, October 16th! We are monitoring the weather and will share an update tomorrow if our plans need to change. We know so many of you take work off to volunteer with us so we don't want to reschedule unless it's absolutely necessary!

Class shirts are coming home this week but we are requesting that students wear WHITE for the Color Run!

Reminder that only registered volunteers will be allowed on the field. Spectators must watch from outside of the fence.

Looks like we're getting one more day of summer vacation! Enjoy the beautiful day!! 🌞🌞🌞

UPDATE (9 a.m.): For the status of afterschool/evening activities, please check with the staff member in charge.
------
Due to the fiber cut on M-24, LOCS will be closed on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
As shared in the Monday night message, the district was hoping for an overnight restoration to allow us to have internet for the essential daily systems.
But, despite the vendor attempting a repair, the project would not be done in time for an operational day for LOCS students and staff.
Thank you for understanding and we will share more details about restoration as they become available.
