This month, we could use your help filling our shelves with shelf stable milk and milk alternatives, 1-2 pound bags of rice, canned fruit, and shampoo!

Pro tip: "regular" size jars shampoo and smaller bags of rice go farther than bulk/family sizes!

September is a busy month! Not only is is Hunger Action Month, it's also Emergency Preparedness Month!

We've been working to help make sure people in the community are prepared by providing emergency kits stocked with shelf stable food, water, and supplies so that they are ready if we have a long lasting power outage, a weather related emergency, or any other situation that calls for extra supplies.

Having a two week supply of food on hand can be an expense that many can't afford, so we hope that by providing these kits, our guests can tuck them away for safe keeping and have one less thing to worry about.

You can TAKE ACTION this month by donating food or funds that help us build out these kits, drop off your own premade kits for us to hand out, or even just spread the word about the work we're doing to keep the community safe!

Thank you to the Lake Oswego team for hosting another food drive on our behalf! This week, they dropped off and sorted 200 lbs worth of food!

This effort comes at time when making ends meet is becoming harder and harder everyday. These donations are allowing individuals and families to focus on taking care of themselves and not having to skip meals.

With ongoing cuts to SNAP and increasing grocery prices, food insecurity is on the rise. According to the Feeding America, 1 in 6 people and 1 in 5 children are at risk of going hungry in Oregon...even here.

This month, you can help us support the over 70,000 Oregonians that are losing access to food assistance. Donate food or funds, volunteer your time, or just spread the word—every little bit helps.
