🚒🚓 What a fun way to celebrate Pre-K Week!
Thank you to the Lanier County Sheriff’s Department and Lanier County Fire Department for giving our students an exciting, hands-on experience! The children explored the police cars and fire trucks, turned on the sirens, and even got to spray water from the fire hoses! Thank you for spending time with our students and helping them learn about the people who keep our community safe.

We would also like to thank Lanier County Family Connection for helping make Pre-K Week special for our students. ❤️

What an amazing day at Lanier County Elementary School!

Today, State School Superintendent Richard Woods presented our school with the John Hancock Banner in recognition of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders learning to write their names in cursive! We are so proud of their hard work and the teachers who helped them reach this milestone.

Superintendent Woods also presented our 4th grade students with a special book celebrating the 250th anniversary of our country—a wonderful keepsake to help them learn about our nation’s history!

Thank you, Superintendent Woods, for visiting our school and celebrating with us. It was a special day for our Bulldog family!

Lanier County Elementary School is celebrating Georgia Pre-K Week, October 5–9, 2026! We kicked off the week with today’s theme: “Readers Become Leaders.”

Thank you to our special readers for spending time with our Pre-K students and sharing the joy of a good book! We appreciate you helping our youngest Bulldogs grow a love of reading. 🐾

Mrs. Taylor's 2nd grade class had so much fun in walk to read with Diary of a Spider! The students “caught” flies from their spider web and answered comprehension questions about the story.

Such a fun, hands-on way to show what we learned!
