The Danbury Township Fire Department is proud to announce that we have been awarded $264,761.90 through the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG)! 🎉

This funding will be a tremendous investment in our department, helping us enhance firefighter safety, strengthen our operational capabilities, and continue providing the highest level of service to our community.

A special thank you to Nationwide First Responders Grant for their expertise, guidance, and support throughout the application process. Your assistance was instrumental in helping us secure this critical funding.

🚒🔥 Teaching Fire Safety Starts Young! 🔥🚒

On 10-6-2026 and 10-7-2026, our fire department had the opportunity to spend time with some of our youngest community members and teach them the importance of fire safety, prevention, and being prepared.

From learning how to Stop, Drop & Roll and what to do if they see or smell smoke, to understanding why smoke alarms, escape plans, and calling 911 are so important, these lessons can make a lifelong difference.

We believe fire safety education starts at a young age. When we teach our kids what to do in an emergency, we help build confidence, awareness, and safer families throughout our community. ❤️

A big thank you to all the kids, parents, teachers, and staff who participated and helped make the day a success!

Stay safe, stay prepared, and remember — every second counts! 🚒👨‍🚒👩‍🚒
