📚 Our library crew is amazing, outstanding, superb, stellar. . . there has to be a more accurate word, but I can’t find it in the thesaurus. I am so thankful for them!

📚With help from the wonderful custodial crew at the school, 16,889 books were moved to storage, shelves were dismantled, painting was done, shelves were reassembled [in a completely different order], books were re-shelved, inflatable pterosaurs were hung from the ceiling, and we hosted our first story time of the summer in just about one month’s time. Oh and a carpet crew was in to demo and relay carpet in the entire space.

📚Not pictured: our reserve expert librarian who came out of retirement and spent most of her Monday helping with the final push to get things put away and two more high school volunteers who worked way harder than any teenager wants to in the summer.

📚 Looking forward to a summer of great stories enjoying our refreshed space!
