Please be aware of a fake “United States District Court Arrest Warrant” and missed jury duty scam that is currently circulating. The fraudulent document includes official‑looking seals, court language, case numbers, and signatures, but it is NOT real.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and any other legitimate law enforcement agency, will never call, email, or text to demand payment or threaten arrest. Do not respond to the sender, do not share personal information, and do not send money. If you receive a similar message, report it to your local police department.

Please share to help protect others. Do NOT become a victim of this scam. Stay alert and stay safe!
