Lancaster Middle School

On March 27, the LMS Advanced Band participated in the Region 20 UIL Concert & Sightreading Competition. The students put on a dynamic concert and received a Superior ranking in Sightreading, making this band, under the direction of Mr. DeShawn Parks and Benjamin Madlock, the first band since 2011 to receive an official trophy from the University Interscholastic League or UIL. Congratulations to the students of the LMS Tiger Band.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated has donated several care packages for our beloved LMS students. The packages include deodorant, toothpaste, soap, mouthwash, lotion, body wash, as well as feminine products! We would like to thank the Upsilon Nu Zeta Chapter President LaQuisha Trice, Ms. Muhammad, Ms. Doyle along with her beautiful daughter Asalah Davis, who is a member of the Zeta Youth Auxiliary Amicettes for the donations. Ms. Doyle saw the need and wanted to be the teacher that goes above and beyond for our youth. Again, thank you Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated.
