Yesterday, the Business Services Team had the privilege of attending the Lancaster Chamber Small Business Summer event! 🌟 💼

Connecting with fellow business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders is always energizing, and this event provided outstanding opportunities to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships.

They enjoyed insightful breakout sessions, including learning from Maian McCaulay, CEO of ASSETS, along with discussions focused on developing and leading high-impact teams. The knowledge shared by the speakers and participants offered valuable perspectives that we can bring back to our own organizations.

Events like these remind us of the strength of Lancaster County's business community and the importance of investing in professional development, collaboration, and networking. Thank you to the Lancaster Chamber for organizing another exceptional event and for continuing to create opportunities that help local businesses thrive.

We are so grateful for our community member who show up for our clients in so many ways. ❤️

Thank you to Warfel Construction team and families for their generous donation of care packages for Alice's Kitchen customers. These care packets will definitely make our customers days with the goodies and the handwritten notes reminding them that they are seen and cared for.

Please show Warfel some love. Even with the business of the day-to-day, they took time with their staff and the staff's families to come together and create packages that contain basic essentials like wipes, toothbrushes, combs, etc. But most importantly each package has a hand written note from the families with a positive message for the participants. It is actions like these that show how an organization is invested in the community and community members.

We were honored to be invited to table with the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board at the Hospitality Career Exploration Workshop hosted by the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Loding Association. 🌟

The Youth Team got the chance to talk to the community about career pathways and resources that we can provide along with get to show off the Career Simulation Virtual Reality Headsets! They also got the chance to listen in to the speakers and even saw some culinary demos.

Thank you to everyone who attended and tried out the career simulation and a big thank you to the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board for inviting us to this amazing event! Finally, thank you to the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Loding Association and the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board for putting on such an informative and fun event.

They discussed what the process was for unemployment, what the forms look like, and more to help educate local organizations on the overall process in case needed.
