Tumble out of bed and into a great book! 💖✨ Today, Lancaster City Preschool celebrated "Dolly Parton Day" in honor of a true global icon, humanitarian, and champion for early literacy.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, a program that has put thousands of free, high-quality books directly into the hands and mailboxes of our preschool students.

Dolly once said that the Imagination Library was the most important thing she ever did. We are so proud to partner with local organizations like the United Way of Fairfield County to support early childhood literacy right here in Lancaster, Ohio.

Dolly’s rhinestone life shone bright, but her legacy lives on every time one of our students opens a book. Thank you, Dolly, for helping our little readers dream big! 📚💕

Sometimes all it takes is a little extra support to make the holidays feel possible. Christmas Assistance applications open October 5 and run through October 16, 2026. If you know someone in Fairfield County who could use that support, let them know now so they're ready to apply. Visit saangeltree.org starting on October 5!
