🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨

Please be aware of a fake “United States District Court Arrest Warrant” and missed jury duty scam that is currently circulating. The fraudulent document includes official‑looking seals, court language, case numbers, and signatures, but it is NOT real.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office and any other legitimate law enforcement agency, will never call, email, or text to demand payment or threaten arrest. Do not respond to the sender, do not share personal information, and do not send money. If you receive a similar message, report it to your local police department.

Please share to help protect others. Do NOT become a victim of this scam. Stay alert and stay safe!

Check out this opportunity for families receiving Early Intervention services ! Pennsylvania State Interagency Coordinating Council (SICC) invites families of children currently receiving Early Intervention (EI) services and parent co-chairs of the Local Interagency Coordinating Councils (LICC) to join the SICC Family Meet and Greet on Thursday, October 8th 11:30 AM –12:30 PM. This event takes place virtually through Zoom. The SICC Meet and Greet is an opportunity to connect with other EI families, learn more about the purpose of the State Interagency Coordinating Council and how families can be involved. The SICC meeting will follow at 12:30 pm, and participation is highly welcomed and encouraged but not required.

Pennsylvania's 52 Area Agencies on Aging support older adults with Medicare education, employment referrals, senior centers, and guidance on arranging private pay services.
