Last Tuesday, our current representative, Steve Mentzer, voted against HB280. This bill would allow those not affiliated with the two major parties to participate in the primaries.

Thirty other states allow this practice. It's time to stop treating these folks like second-class citizens and allow them the same voting opportunities as Republicans and Democrats in our communities. I am running for Representative because I truly believe in representing and advocating for all constituents, regardless of your party affiliation. Vote JESS BRANAS by mail or in person on Nov. 3rd.
