West Hempfield welcomes a new Officer......

Officer Joshua Rudy graduated from Donegal High School in 2010. Joshua put himself through the police academy as a pre-service cadet in 2019 before being hired by the Northern York County Regional Police Department (NYCRPD) that year.

He worked for NYCRPD from 2019-2022, when he made the decision to serve in Lancaster County. In 2022 Joshua was hired by the Susquehanna Regional Police Department (SRPD).

During his time with the SRPD, Joshua became a certified field training officer (FTO), a certified field sobriety test instructor, and he served as a member of the Lancaster County Peer Support Team.

Joshua sought the opportunity to bring his experience and talents to the WHTPD, to serve the community that he calls home.

Welcome to the West Hempfield Township Police Department Officer Rudy!!
