🚨RED-y to Be Drug-Free! 🚨
To kick off Red Ribbon Week, Discovery School students turned the school red by wearing as much red as they could!

Don’t forget we’re teaming up against drugs tomorrow by wearing your favorite sports jersey, shirt or colors.

Thank you all for supporting our school Moon Pie fundraiser! It was a huge success this year. We are so lucky to have such an amazing community of families, teachers, and neighbors. Your support makes a massive difference for our kids!

As a treat, our top sellers were able to participate in a candy drop activity and pizza party! Great job, everyone!

Students and staff have been working hard to promote attendance awareness this year. Success starts with showing up! As an incentive for crushing their attendance goals, students were given the opportunity to wrap their teachers up in toilet paper!

School is better with you in it! Keep your attendance on track by showing up on time each day. We can’t wait to see what our next fun incentive may be!

To wrap up their unit about matter, mixtures and solutions, 4th and 5th grade participated in a Soda Solution and Mixtures Lab today.

Students created solutions by combining soda with syrups and creamers. They observed how the ingredients dissolved to form a uniform mixture. Then they added different candies and gummies to create mixtures, observing how the individual ingredients remained separate and could still be identified.

What a fun learning experience!
