Come join Neshaminy Core Swim Team! Location: Poquessing Middle School. Dates: Oct 5th until the end of January.
· High School - 4:30-6pm until Nov 13th.
· Beginners- 6pm-6:30pm
· Advanced Beginners- 6pm- 6:45pm
· Juniors- 6:45pm- 8pm
· Seniors- 4:30-6pm until Nov 13th then 6:45pm- 8pm once high school starts.
· Cost: varies by enrollment group
· Requirements- ability to swim one lap of the pool

NEF Volunteers will be at every elementary Back-to-School Night: tonight (Tawanka #1) and tomorrow night (all other schools and Tawanka #2) with raffle tickets. Chances are $5 each or 10 for $20, cash or Venmo accepted. Support our Neshaminy schools and maybe win tickets to a really great game!

Neshaminy School District came together last week for the fifth district-wide Neshaminy GOES GOLD Spirit Week in recognition of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. This student-led initiative, which started at Poquessing MS, brought students, staff, families, and the community together to raise awareness, show support for children and families affected by pediatric cancer, and help fund the fight for a cure. Each day featured a different way for the Neshaminy community to participate
The week concluded with the Gold Out football game Friday at The Ridge, where fans filled the stands in gold. Gold Out shirts were available while supplies lasted, and the first and second quarters featured Mini-THON Minutes, inviting the crowd to donate spare change for the kids. Families also had the opportunity to purchase luminary bags in honor or memory of loved ones, adding a meaningful tribute to the evening.

The Fourth Grade at Schweitzer ES held a "Book Tasting" this week. Students in all four classes spent some time at each table, exploring books grouped according to genre. Students filled out their menus with books from the table and explored! Each student spent time noting the cover, reading the back of the book and table of contents, as well as recording their initial thoughts after reading a few pages. At the end of the tasting, each student had a list of books and genres that interested them. It is something the 4th grade plans on doing mid-year as well!
