🇺🇸 Connecting Veterans to Career Opportunities in Arizona! 🤝💼

On October 13, AMVETS Arizona HVRP Outreach Specialist Sheron Green represented our team at the Arizona Automotive Institute (AAI) Fall Community Fair!

The event brought together employers, students, and community organizations to explore employment opportunities, career pathways, and valuable resources.

Throughout the event, Sheron connected with employers and community partners, shared information about AMVETS-HVRP services, and explored potential employment opportunities for the veterans we serve.

🌟 One exciting connection! Sheron met with a Senior Recruiter from Cox Fleet to discuss potential career opportunities for veterans who recently completed CompTIA training and are ready to put their new skills to work!

On October 9, HVRP Outreach Specialists Melanie Brandow and Ruben Almaraz attended the Veterans Trades Hiring Expo at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Tempe, AZ!

Throughout the event, our team connected with employers, trade organizations, and educational institutions to explore career pathways, vocational training, and employment opportunities for the veterans we serve.

From skilled trades and construction to logistics and project management, Melanie and Ruben spent the morning networking, building employer relationships, and sharing how AMVETS-HVRP helps veterans overcome employment barriers.

🌟 A highlight of the event? Our team received a new veteran referral, creating another opportunity to help a veteran take the next step toward career success!
