It was a busy Friday evening across the district yesterday! 😊

I was thrilled to celebrate the 100th birthday of NPSD’s York Avenue Elementary School! 🎉 It was wonderful walking through one of the most unique schools in our district and celebrating this incredible milestone with alumni, current and future students, staff, families, and community members. What a special piece of North Penn history! Huge thanks to all the organizers and participants! 🙏🏾

It was also Community Night at the Knights football game, where I had the opportunity to sign the beam that will become part of our new facility. What a meaningful reminder that the spaces we build today will serve generations of North Penn School District students to come.

Two very different events, but both were great reminders of what makes our district so special, our history, our community, and our commitment to the future of our students. 💙💛

Today our schools will participate in a moment of silence marking 25 years since the events of September 11, 2001, ensuring our students will continue to learn about this significant moment in United States history. The North Penn School District continues to honor and remember the survivors, first responders, and those who were lost on this day.
