Nowicki Park construction process is underway!

The park is 35 acres and will include improved walking trails, a community room, outdoor pavilion, 1-acre playground and 3+ acre dog park, with small and large dog areas.

John Pappageorge was one of a kind. John dedicated most of his life to service; first for his country and then for his community at the local and state levels.

During his time in the Senate, he was a prominent budget leader who constantly fought for better efficiency in government, while also advocating for more resources for local governments and for a long-term solution to road funding.

It was great attending the Michigan Cricket Association championship game!

Founded in 2001, the association features over 100-125 teams, thousands of players, multiple divisions, and dozens of matches across local communities in Troy, Sterling Heights, and many others.

I attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Southeast Michigan Psychiatric Hospital in Northville that replaces the former Hawthorn Center.

I hope hospital management is prepared to welcome back patients and protect their rights. I’ve heard many heartbreaking stories from families who said the state failed to protect their loved ones at the former Hawthorn Center and felt abandoned when officials didn’t take their complaints seriously.

I hope this new facility brings meaningful changes to protect patients and ensure this is a place of healing, hope and recovery for all.
