Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost 25 years ago on September 11th, 2001, and honor the extraordinary bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger. We hold space for the families and communities who carry this loss every day.
Honoring 9/11 means protecting the democratic values we hold dear. That requires defending civil liberties, standing firmly against hate (Islamophobia and Xenophobia), and ensuring our foreign policy prioritizes human rights and diplomacy over endless conflict.
Real unity comes from taking care of one another—starting with guaranteed, long-term healthcare for the first responders and survivors still suffering from 9/11-related illnesses. We honor the past by building a more just, inclusive, and peaceful future.
