The Shark Tooth Woodshop is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to partner with Granger Waste Services in providing handcrafted wooden trucks for the company’s retirees. This partnership allows us to showcase our students’ talents outside of Gratiot County while building relationships with a company that shares many of the same values we strive to teach in the woodshop.
This past week, we delivered the first five trucks to the company headquarters, where we were welcomed and treated like part of the Granger family. We are grateful for their hospitality and support of our students and program.
A special shoutout goes to the seniors who made the trip to showcase their work. These young men represented our woodshop and school with excellence as they shared about the project and everything they have learned through the experience. What an incredible way to finish out their high school career.
Well done, gentlemen — and Go Sharks!
